About the Role
Join Ryman Healthcare's Charles Fleming Retirement Village in Waikanae on the Kapiti Coast as a full-time Caregiver. Work hours are Sunday to Friday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. You will form meaningful bonds with residents and their families, offer personalized care following individual care plans, and utilize cutting-edge technology including the myRyman care app. Collaboration with colleagues to foster a supportive team atmosphere is essential.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain enduring relationships with residents and their families.
- Deliver compassionate care reflecting high personal standards.
- Employ latest technologies to enhance service delivery.
- Support and collaborate with the care team to ensure a positive working environment.
Candidate Profile
Successful candidates will demonstrate kindness, empathy, effective communication, and a reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor. Prior experience in aged care is preferred but not required. Applicants must hold valid New Zealand work rights due to immigration regulations.
