Role Overview

We are seeking a Restaurant Captain to lead floor operations, ensure accurate order-taking, and guarantee a seamless and friendly dining experience for all guests. As the main point of contact at the table, you will manage orders, maintain guest satisfaction, and collaborate closely with the service team.

Key Duties

• Welcome guests, escort them to tables, present menus, and clearly communicate specials and recommendations.
• Take precise food and beverage orders, confirm dietary requirements, and suggest additional items to enhance the experience.
• Swiftly and accurately enter orders, coordinating with kitchen and service staff to ensure correct timing and presentation of dishes.
• Continuously check on guests, answer inquiries, promptly resolve issues, and build rapport with regular visitors.
• Maintain exemplary table setup and cleanliness including cutlery, glassware, and condiments in your designated area.
• Manage billing within your section, verify charges and offers, and ensure payment processes are smooth for guests.
• Lead and mentor junior waitstaff by delegating responsibilities and relaying guest feedback to the Restaurant Manager to improve service quality.
