CAD Specialist

Role overview

This is a contract-based remote opportunity for a CAD professional who can work on a flexible schedule of 10 to 40 hours per week. Compensation is set at $20 to $70 per hour.

What you’ll do

• Examine AutoCAD files closely, improve their structure where needed, and maintain strong data accuracy and design quality.
• Use advanced CAD knowledge to add annotations, labels, and reviews that make drawings more precise and easier to interpret.
• Work with AI development teams by sharing practical insights and high-quality examples drawn from real CAD work.
• Bring industry-standard methods and technical judgment to different CAD workflows and assignments.
• Provide informed feedback on both 2D and 3D models so they stay aligned with project expectations and technical objectives.
• Help improve processes by spotting weaknesses in current CAD workflows and suggesting better approaches.

Required skills and background

• You should have expert-level AutoCAD ability, including substantial hands-on experience with both 2D and 3D modeling.
• A strong understanding of CAD conventions, drafting practices, and core design principles is essential.
