Role Summary
This position supports the Production team by analyzing operational data, enhancing business processes, and creating automation solutions utilizing Microsoft Excel and Power Automate during a six-month engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and structure operational data to produce insightful reports.
- Create and update reporting dashboards leveraging Microsoft Excel.
- Design, develop, and sustain automated workflows via Microsoft Power Automate.
- Pinpoint repetitive manual operations and suggest automation or process enhancement strategies.
- Assist the Production team in simplifying daily routines through digital transformation and workflow enhancements.
- Partner with diverse teams to understand business needs and offer practical solutions.
- Help document business workflows, standard operating procedures, and process diagrams.
- Conduct data validation to guarantee report accuracy and consistency.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement tasks as directed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Bachelor's program in Business, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Available to commit to a full-time six-month internship period.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including use of Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis, and generating reports.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate or keen interest in mastering automation tools.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Comfort in working within production or manufacturing environments and interacting with operations personnel.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and motivated to learn.
