Role Overview
Joining the Corporate Sales team, the Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in driving Omnissa's growth through inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting activities. This position focuses on generating leads, qualifying inbound inquiries, executing strategic outreach campaigns, and establishing new business relationships, primarily within the EMEA region.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in either French or German is essential
- Proficiency in English is also required
Performance Goals for the First 6 Months
- Within 15 days: Understand Omnissa's product portfolio and use cases via online training and one-on-one sessions
- Within 30 days: Confidently qualify inbound leads, implement outbound prospecting strategies, and arrange meetings for the sales team
- Within 90 days: Actively qualify inbound leads and contribute significantly to outbound prospecting efforts; understand business processes and organizational structure; proficient with product portfolio; support sales pipeline growth
- Within 180 days: Expertly identify and qualify new prospects; actively sustain and expand the team’s sales pipeline and outbound efforts
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and nurture leads through persistent self-started prospecting and lead generation efforts
- Adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Qualify inbound leads and identify outbound prospects using cold calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Coordinate with the Sales team for smooth lead handoff
- Provide weekly reporting on lead generation and conversion performance
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads
- Participate actively in weekly sales training and team meetings, sharing insights
