Business Development Executive

About the Role

We seek a dynamic Business Development Executive dedicated to expanding our footprint in the agricultural equipment sector. The role involves identifying new business prospects, nurturing relationships with dealers and farmers, and overseeing the complete sales cycle. Responsibilities also include conducting market research, demonstrating products, and meeting sales targets within regional markets to support the modernization of farming practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate leads by analyzing market trends and reaching out to potential customers through cold calls, online channels, and industry events.
• Drive sales efforts by offering agricultural equipment solutions to distributors and dealers while ensuring excellent post-sale service.
• Manage dealer relationships by recruiting new partners and delivering comprehensive product training and sales assistance.
• Develop and implement regional sales strategies and provide frequent performance updates and market insights to management.
• Act as a company representative at agricultural trade fairs and events to enhance brand visibility and keep abreast of emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess any undergraduate degree.
• At least six months of experience in a sales role, irrespective of industry.
• Ownership of a laptop and access to reliable internet connectivity.
• Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and fundamental proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Fluency in Tamil and good command of English.
• Female candidates only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational background or degree related to Agriculture.
• Experience handling agricultural equipment such as sprayers, weeders, and chaff cutters.
• Pre-established connections with the local farming community or dealer network.

Additional Information

This is a remote position open to candidates across India. The salary range is between INR 15,000 and INR 22,000 per month.
