Role Overview
Infosys is inviting applications for a Business Development Director to lead strategic sales and new client acquisition initiatives in Germany, focusing on the Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and Logistics sectors. The ideal candidate will devise targeted market approaches and pursue proactive sales efforts to expand the company's presence and generate new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business deals within the services domain.
- Represent Infosys as a trusted industry leader and advisor to the market.
- Utilize Infosys' comprehensive technology and industry capabilities to craft solutions that address client challenges.
- Drive the creation of innovative platform solutions.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably with large deal closures.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and nurture relationships with C-level executives at top organizations.
- Proficient in proposal development and delivering effective presentations.
- Skilled in negotiating and defending complex, high-value offers within collaborative team environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, coupled with open-mindedness and bold decision-making.
Preferred Experience
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in software contract negotiations.
- Expertise in competitor analysis and SWOT assessments.
- Capability to devise innovative solutions in ambiguous contexts.
- Well-connected within the IT services domain and specifically in the CPG, Retail, and Logistics industries.
- Adept at detecting new RFPs and deals through networking with key clients.
- Understanding of the Global Delivery Model, including offshore and outsourcing frameworks.
