Job Overview
STAFFXPERT LLC is hiring a Business Analyst for a multi-year contract position based in Austin, TX. The role focuses on providing expertise in Texas Vital Statistics laws, rules, and policies to support essential public health and vital records projects, specifically enhancing the Texas Electronic Vital Events Registrar (TxEVER) system.
Key Duties
- Evaluate and document business systems and processes along with user requirements.
- Collect, verify, and manage both business and functional needs throughout project phases.
- Conduct detailed business process analyses, mapping, and improvements.
- Formulate solution recommendations, assess risks, and perform cost-benefit analyses.
- Produce thorough business, functional, and technical documents.
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to facilitate application updates and system enhancements.
- Identify and recommend operational efficiencies and improvements.
- Provide ongoing support for TxEVER projects and critical operational functions.
- Assist with project management tasks such as planning, tracking progress, and informing stakeholders.
- Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulations and align with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years experience as a Business Analyst.
- Extensive knowledge of Texas Vital Statistics legislation, policies, and regulations.
- Strong foundation in business analysis techniques, process analysis, and managing requirements.
- Expertise in business process mapping and reengineering methodologies.
- Experience analyzing complex business operations and IT systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and organizational abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills capable of producing clear documentation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
