Overview
The Business Analyst in Retail Planning will be responsible for delivering retail analytics, generating comprehensive reports, and creating insightful dashboards to support commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, update, and improve retail planning reports regularly.
- Automate routine reporting tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure the punctual submission of daily, weekly, and monthly management information systems (MIS) reports.
- Standardize the reporting framework across different brands and markets within the company.
- Maintain thorough documentation and user manuals for all reports.
- Create and sustain interactive dashboards leveraging Power BI, Excel, Power Query, and SQL technologies.
- Analyze historical sales data, forecast datasets, and seasonal trends to facilitate accurate demand planning.
- Oversee data quality by validating product master data, store master data, inventory records, promotional data, and conduct data reconciliation activities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy and comprehensiveness of reporting outputs.
- Support provided to business functions through data insights.
- Effectiveness of data management practices.
- Rate of report automation achieved.
- Timeliness in delivery of executive-level reports.

Qualifications
A bachelor's degree is required. Candidates should have relevant experience in retail planning appropriate to this role. Advanced skills in Excel are necessary; familiarity with Power BI and ERP software is preferred. Understanding of retail and merchandise planning processes is essential.
