BMS Executive

Role Overview

The BMS Executive will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities of Building Management Systems (BMS) controlled equipment at the site. This includes monitoring service provider repairs, conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting, and performing minor repairs to ensure optimal system performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor repairs carried out by the service provider on BMS systems throughout the site.
• Perform routine inspections to verify correct operation of control equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and conduct minor repairs as directed by site management and according to Daily/Weekly Servicing Plan.
• Continuously monitor system operation and performance metrics.
• Adjust operational parameters to ensure systems function within specified limits.
• Maintain accountability for all work being performed safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
• Immediately report any accidents, injuries, unsafe working conditions, or hazardous practices.
• Participate actively in Safety Meetings and Toolbox talks to promote safety awareness.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities in writing and communicate these to management as needed.
• Resolve unforeseen technical problems or issues promptly.
• Advise site management regarding the selection and procurement of appropriate materials for maintenance and repairs, ensuring they meet specifications and are suitable for use.
• Oversee proper storage and maintenance of materials, offering recommendations on technology upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Complete necessary documentation for work completion and obtain client approval after inspection.
