Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced BIM Manager to lead, develop, and implement a comprehensive Digital Project Delivery (DPD) strategy from pre-contract stages through project delivery and handover. This is a permanent full-time role based at our head office in Citywest, Limerick.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the pre-construction team by examining tender documents such as Works Information and Employer’s Information Requirements to identify the client's BIM and digital needs.
- Perform technical assessments of 3D BIM models submitted during tendering, checking model federation, engineering accuracy, clash detection, logistics, and cost management aspects.
- Facilitate the creation and delivery of project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP), and Model Production and Delivery Table (MPDT), ensuring all internal teams and external collaborators understand their obligations.
- Co-lead DPD kick-off meetings with the project management team alongside the Information Manager to finalize the DPD approach.
- Provide mentorship and support to BIM Engineers as necessary.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary projects adhering to BIM Level 2 standards.
- Strong background in BIM documentation is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Practical knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Viewpoints for Projects or Dalux (Common Data Environment tools), Synchro Pro, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Lumion, or comparable 3D rendering software.
- Completed third-level education in construction, computing, or a related field.
