About the Role
Tropical Battery Company Limited is seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about customer service and technical work to join their Technical and Mobile Response Team. This position offers an opportunity to work directly in the field and develop a fulfilling career with Jamaica's top battery supplier.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform testing, installation, and replacement of automotive batteries.
- Conduct fundamental assessments of charging systems and vehicle electrical components.
- Deliver professional and prompt customer service to clients.
- Complete all necessary service and warranty paperwork accurately.
- Ensure all assigned tools and equipment are maintained properly.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess at least NVQ-J/CVQ Level 1 certification in Automotive Repairs, Automotive Electrical/Electronic Systems, or related fields from recognized institutions such as HEART/NSTA Trust or JAGAS.
- Maintain physical fitness suitable for lifting automotive batteries.
- Exhibit good customer service abilities and a readiness to undergo company-provided technical training.
- For Mobile Technicians: Hold a valid Class 1 Motorcycle License with a minimum of one year’s clean driving record.
