Role Overview

Amrize is seeking a dedicated Batcher to join our team in Windsor, Ontario. This role involves managing the safe and efficient operation of our concrete batch plant, supervising concrete mixer drivers, and overseeing plant maintenance to ensure the delivery of high-quality concrete products on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Commit to health, safety, and environmental standards by promoting and enforcing safe work practices and promptly addressing safety concerns.
• Lead by example to maintain a safety-first culture while ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Manage batching operations, schedule concrete deliveries, set pricing, order raw materials, and ensure batching meets quality and client specifications.
• Analyze plant operations and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Coordinate batching of concrete, schedule driver personnel, and perform opening, closing, and daily plant checks.
• Foster a respectful and high-performance workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a dispatching or related role.
• Experience with Ready Mix concrete is advantageous.
• Strong reading and writing abilities.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Willingness to follow all safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment; respirator use requires being clean-shaven to ensure proper fit.
