Job Overview

We are looking for a Bartender to assist in beverage preparation and service, maintain cleanliness around the bar, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The role involves guest interactions, delivering excellent service, collaborating with wait staff, and adapting flexibly with a positive mindset.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver courteous and efficient food and beverage service to all guests.
• Create a pleasant environment and positive guest experiences.
• Develop and maintain relationships with VIP guests and regular customers to address their preferences.
• Follow detailed cleaning schedules to uphold hygiene standards.
• Prepare necessary mise-en-place before guest arrival.
• Accurately manage billing procedures in compliance with hotel policies.
• Comply with liquor licensing laws and hotel guidelines.
• Maintain current RSA certification and adhere to responsible service standards.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• A service-driven personality with enthusiasm for food and beverage hospitality.
• Prior experience in a bartender role is mandatory.
• Background in upscale hotel environments is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills along with leadership by example.
• Possession of a valid RSA certification in Victoria is required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, within a 7-day operational cycle.
