Role Summary

This full-time position based in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, requires the Barge Administrator and Radio Communications Operator to oversee barge activity coordination and handle all radio communication operations. Responsibilities include operating radio equipment to maintain uninterrupted contact among barges, shore teams, vessels, and pertinent authorities. Daily duties encompass precise record keeping of communications and movements, assistance with administrative paperwork, and updating operational logs and reports. The role supports the day-to-day barge operations by transmitting instructions, monitoring communications, and helping enforce safety compliance. Collaboration with supervisors, crew, and support personnel is essential to ensure secure, effective, and well-documented operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proficient radio communication and operation skills.
  • Strong verbal communication abilities.
  • Military or defense experience with radio operation and structured communication is highly regarded.
  • Experience in providing training on communication procedures or capability to instruct others in radio and safety protocols.
  • Possession of certifications or licenses related to radio operation or maritime communication is preferred.
  • Experience in marine, offshore, or logistical environments is an advantage.
  • Ability to maintain detailed logs, comply with standard operating procedures, and operate in safety-critical settings.
  • Basic computer skills with knowledge of documentation and reporting software.
