Role overview

Morisset Bakehouse in Morisset, New South Wales is seeking a full-time Baker to support a growing production line and broader product assortment. In this role, you will help produce consistently high-quality baked products while keeping bakery operations running to standard in terms of speed, quality, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and bake a broad mix of bakery goods, such as breads, pastries, rolls, pies, cakes, and related items.
• Work from established recipes, production plans, and quality standards.
• Prepare doughs, use baking machinery, and control bake times and temperatures.
• Check that finished products are visually appealing and ready for sale or display.
• Follow strict food hygiene, sanitation, and safety requirements throughout the shift.
• Support inventory control, ingredient purchasing, and day-to-day bakery tasks.
• Help maintain a cooperative, positive, and productive team atmosphere.

About you

The ideal candidate has either a relevant baking qualification or at least 1 year of experience working in a commercial bakery. You should be comfortable handling bread, pastry, and general baking production tasks, and be able to manage your time well while working on your own.

A dependable, proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, pride in product quality, and a consistently clean, professional approach are all important for this role.
