Role Overview
KAYRA DESIGN STUDIO is looking for an AutoCAD Draughtsman to create precise technical drawings for interior, joinery, MEP, and civil works projects in Dubai. The role involves turning design ideas into practical shop drawings and keeping drawing documentation current and well organized.
Responsibilities
- Draft detailed drawings for interior layouts, joinery, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil work requirements.
- Translate design concepts into shop drawings that can be used for execution on site.
- Work closely with designers and engineers to verify drawing accuracy and resolve coordination issues.
- Make sure drawings meet the applicable Dubai authority standards and submission requirements.
- Keep drawing files and revision records up to date.
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Architecture or Design, along with at least 3 years of experience as a CAD Draughtsman in interiors or joinery. Strong AutoCAD expertise is essential, and familiarity with Revit will be an added advantage. A careful eye for detail and a high level of accuracy are important for success in this role.
