Role Overview

This full-time position located in Cavan offers a four-day workweek and involves direct client engagement. Reporting to the Audit Partner, the successful candidate will lead various audit projects within the regional clientele.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Organising and planning audit assignments along with resource allocation and supervision of audit documentation and financial statement reviews.
  • Assisting the audit partner on various business advisory assignments such as negotiations with Revenue and banking institutions, supporting restructuring processes, and providing litigation assistance.
  • Supervising trainees enrolled in a 3.5-year Chartered Accountancy training program.
  • Meeting team budget targets and fulfilling agreed business planning objectives.
  • Upholding high technical and professional standards throughout all engagements.
  • Strategically assessing client needs by gaining a comprehensive understanding of their operations and identifying critical risk factors.
  • Proactively resolving potential issues before escalation and devising effective solutions.
  • Providing coaching, training, and developmental support to team members.

Qualifications and Experience
