Opportunity Overview
Handshake seeks proficient Audacity users to assist AI research with flexible, hourly contract assignments. This is a non-traditional position where your expertise in audio editing, podcast production, or voice-over work supports evaluating AI-generated content to enhance AI understanding of audio tasks and post-production processes.
This ongoing, project-based role is designed to fit alongside your other activities.
Who Should Apply
- Experienced Audacity users with backgrounds such as Audio Editor, Audio Post-Production Specialist, Podcast Producer, Voice-Over Artist, or Multimedia Specialist.
- Proficient in audio editing, noise reduction, and sound cleanup with Audacity, or podcast/voice-over recording and producing.
- Experienced in annotating, labeling audio assets, or quality and consistency review of audio.
Role Responsibilities
- Use your Audacity skills to develop audio tool-related questions and evaluate AI responses for accuracy and real-world relevance in audio editing workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of practical experience with Audacity through professional or freelance work.
- Good understanding of audio editing principles and post-production processes.
- Strong written communication and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to written instructions.
Work Model
- Position type: Independent contractor role, not full-time employment.
- Location: Fully remote, requiring stable internet and a desktop or laptop computer.
