Role Summary

The Associate Manager acts as the Site Head responsible for the day-to-day management of a small-scale solar plant (0-50 MW). Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize inventory using various analysis techniques (VED, FSN, ABC), ensuring critical spares availability for smooth operations.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance, equipment testing, calibration, and general upkeep of solar assets.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, health (ESG), Legatrix, 5S standards, business excellence, and relevant government regulations.
  • Lead recruitment activities to fill vacancies within 45 days and maintain low team turnover.
  • Conduct and fulfill training requirements to develop at least 20% of staff for higher responsibilities, focusing on solar O&M skills enhancement.
  • Maintain effective communication and strong relationships with local stakeholders to facilitate site operations.
  • Champion a safety-first culture aiming for zero accidents and lost time injuries through daily safety briefings, audits, and proactive hazard management.
  • Develop business and strategic plans to maximize site efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Drive technological adoption, including platforms like BAX and Google IC, and maintain SCADA communications for continuous performance monitoring.
  • Manage site planning, inventory, procurement, and asset maintenance ensuring projects complete on time and within budget.
  • Supervise waste management, scrap disposal, and ensure compliance with relevant policies for material conservation and safety.

Qualifications and Experience
