Overview
Join EY-Parthenon as an Associate Director within the Financial Diligence team, where you'll be an essential contributor managing and conducting due diligence projects across diverse sectors and transaction scenarios. Embedded in cross-functional teams, you'll collaborate globally, gaining significant exposure to complex transactions and client engagements. This role demands a strategic mindset and commercial awareness to assist clients in achieving their business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Support clients in their strategic ambitions, whether acquiring or divesting assets.
- Guide clients through due diligence processes, identifying critical value drivers and rigorously testing future performance assumptions.
- Collaborate with other EY service lines to provide comprehensive, integrated client solutions.
- Engage in numerous international assignments in partnership with global EY offices.
Key Skills and Attributes
- Analyse historical and projected financial data to evaluate trends impacting cash flow and transaction valuation.
- Conduct industry and company-specific research using online databases and publicly accessible sources.
- Investigate complex accounting issues to assess their effect on transaction valuations and structuring.
- Prepare detailed client reports and supporting schedules.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with client teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen.
- Deep commitment to helping clients reach their potential.
- Ability to interpret financial and non-financial data to develop informed analyses and insights.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles, especially IFRS.
- Effective presentation skills; prior auditing experience is beneficial.
- Proficiency with data analysis and critical thinking, particularly advanced use of MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in transaction services or auditing.
- Experience interacting directly with clients in a professional services setting.
