  • Support negotiation processes and assessment of commercial agreements and definitive transaction documents.
  • Prepare investment approval materials for executive and board review.
  • Work cross-functionally with development, finance, legal, energy markets, and asset management teams.
  • Analyze and model critical commercial contracts, including EPC, procurement, and offtake agreements.
  • Perform sensitivity analyses, scenario planning, and evaluation of investment returns.
  • Assess project risks, contractual responsibilities, performance guarantees, and commercial liabilities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, project finance, investment banking, private equity, development, or quantitative roles.
  • Preferably have a minimum of one year working directly with utility-scale solar and/or energy storage projects.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel with experience in building and analyzing project finance models.
  • Understand project finance structures such as construction debt, tax equity, preferred equity, and term debt.
  • Exhibit strong communication and presentation abilities to assist in investment decisions.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial setting with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Willing to work onsite at least three days per week in Washington, D.C., and travel up to 25% as needed.

Additional Information

  • Compensation package ranges from $125,000 to $135,000 base salary, with an additional 15% to 20% bonus and comprehensive benefits.
  • Relocation assistance is available; however, sponsorship for employment is not provided.

  • The organization offers exposure to a significant utility-scale renewable and digital infrastructure pipeline within a lean, high-growth team.
