Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the onboarding and full hire-to-retire HR Shared Services operations, with a particular focus on managing background verification (BGC) processes onsite.
  • Ensure thorough end-to-end management of the background check process, including SLA management, data validation, internal controls, and the publishing and analysis of dashboards evaluating parameters such as turnaround times, vendor SLAs, and report categorizations (green/non-green).
  • Exercise diligence in reviewing educational qualifications and prior employment documents to detect fraudulent or suspicious information.
  • Manage background verifications for multiple countries, including India, and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring closure of audit findings and implementing corrective actions as required.
  • Utilize advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to maintain dashboards, trackers, and support client-specific background and onboarding needs.
  • Handle vendor-related responsibilities, including invoice management, payment processing, and maintenance of process documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage escalation processes, respond to service tickets, address employee queries, and coordinate with stakeholders for prompt issue resolution.
  • Coordinate onboarding clearances, liaising with BGC vendors, monitoring their performance, managing non-green case follow-ups, and ensuring timely resolutions in accordance with company policies.
  • Review new Master Service Agreements (MSAs) for accounts and align background verification checks accordingly.

Requirements

  • Graduation degree (any stream) is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience specifically in onsite background verification management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is mandatory.
