Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Assistant Design Architect/project designer to join our expanding creative team in Singapore. This position involves close collaboration with the Design Architect to develop design concepts and execute detailed construction drawings for landed residential projects. Responsibilities span from overseeing space planning and design coordination to ensuring successful project delivery from initial design phase through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Design Architect in evolving refined design ideas, spatial narratives, and thematic storylines.
• Create quality mood boards, material palettes, 3D visuals, and presentation materials that reflect the signature luxury style of CLO Haus.
• Convert conceptual directions into detailed, sophisticated spatial designs.
• Develop accurate technical drawings including floor plans, elevations, and detailed design documents adhering to architectural guidelines.
• Maintain design specifications, finishes, and detailing to uphold CLO Haus's luxury craftsmanship standards.
• Collaborate closely during design refinement and detail resolution stages.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and craftspeople to safeguard design integrity onsite.
• Participate in site inspections to monitor progress, verify measurements, and address design-related issues.
• Support development of mockups, prototypes, and detailed studies as needed.
• Join client meetings with the Design Architect to present designs and incorporate feedback without compromising aesthetic consistency.
• Assist in preparing detailed design packages that clearly communicate design intent.
• Work alongside the procurement team to source premium materials, lighting, finishes, and furnishings aligned with design intent.
• Curate styling elements and accessories to enhance the final delivered environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in producing submittals and construction drawings with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong experience in space planning and architectural design to create innovative functional spaces.
• Project management capabilities including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Proficient use of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related discipline.
• Familiarity with Singapore's construction practices and building regulations is advantageous.
