Architect (m/f/d) Construction Management, Nuremberg Region

About the Role

ERNST² ARCHITEKTEN AG in Nuremberg is looking for an Architect to take responsibility for construction management on new building projects located in Marktredwitz. This position demands a proactive professional who manages construction sites directly on location, coordinating and making decisions in collaboration with all stakeholders rather than from an office setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for clients, planners, and contractors
• Organize the construction site and manage logistics effectively
• Coordinate various trades including technical building equipment (TGA)
• Ensure high quality standards for construction work
• Manage project schedules and monitor costs
• Document progress, identify defects, and ensure follow-up actions
• Assist with reviewing contract amendments
• Conduct site inspections and oversee project handovers

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Architecture
• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in construction management, specifically in services phase 8 (HOAI)
• Confident knowledge and application of VOB regulations
• Structured and independent working style
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• Valid driver’s license required for on-site duties

Familiarity with common project management tools and construction cost calculation (AVA) software is advantageous but not mandatory.
