Architect (CAD & Construction Documentation)

Role Overview

We seek an experienced Architect specializing in CAD and construction documentation to create detailed architectural designs and manufacturing documentation remotely. The role requires producing accurate floor plans, elevation drawings, comprehensive CAD schematics, and annotated electrical schematics. The Architect will also be responsible for designing PCB layouts and integrating them within construction projects while ensuring clarity and quality at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed floor plans and elevation sets tailored to project specifications.
• Create extensive CAD drawings to support architectural and engineering needs.
• Generate precise Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) annotations suitable for manufacturing documentation.
• Produce multi-sheet electrical schematics adhering to industry standards with thorough annotation.
• Design and assess PCB layouts, incorporating best practices for manufacturability and operational functionality.
• Engage in collaborative exchanges with stakeholders for requirement clarification and technical issue resolution.
• Compile and deliver comprehensive documentation packages aligned with project milestones and quality criteria.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• At least 3 years of recent professional experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation.
• Proficiency with recognized 2D/3D CAD software tools and PCB layout design programs.
• Demonstrated skill in producing and interpreting complex GD&T callouts and schematic diagrams.
• Experienced in developing multi-sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB design within building projects.
• Exceptional detail orientation and organizational capabilities in managing multiple document sets.
• Advanced English communication skills are essential.
• Experience collaborating on remote and cross-functional projects is advantageous.

Compensation

This position offers a pay rate ranging from $40 to $50 per hour.
