Architect CAD and Construction Documentation Specialist - Remote Contract

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Architect specializing in CAD and construction documentation for a remote contract position. The role involves creating comprehensive architectural and engineering drawings and collaborating across teams to ensure project accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed floor plans and elevation drawings that align with project specifications.
• Create precise CAD drawings supporting both architectural and engineering requirements.
• Prepare Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) annotations for manufacturing documentation.
• Generate and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics following industry standards.
• Design and evaluate PCB layouts emphasizing manufacturability and functionality integration.
• Collaborate through document exchanges to clarify needs and address technical queries.
• Provide complete documentation packages that meet project timelines and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

• At least three years of recent hands-on experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation.
• Skilled in using standard 2D/3D CAD software and PCB layout design tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating and interpreting GD&T callouts and complex schematic diagrams.
• Experience in developing multi-sheet electrical schematics and incorporating PCB layouts into building projects.
• Exceptional detail orientation and capability in managing multi-document workflows.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Experience collaborating on remote, cross-functional teams is an advantage.
