About the Role
Join a leading global digital services company as an API Test Engineer based in Hyderabad. This position involves ensuring the robustness and reliability of cutting-edge applications by thoroughly testing APIs that drive product functionality. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and execute detailed API testing strategies and test cases.
- Use Postman extensively to validate API functionality, performance, and stability.
- Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to understand API specifications and deliver high-quality test results.
- Identify, log, and monitor defects, coordinating with developers to facilitate timely fixes.
- Conduct ongoing improvements in testing methodologies to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
Education and Experience
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Computer Applications (B.E, B.Tech, BCA).
- Demonstrated API testing experience with a minimum of 5 years of practical exposure.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Swagger for API documentation and testing.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while juggling multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills essential for teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
