About the Role
Brand Spanking focuses on creating genuine interactions between people and well-known brands. The company partners with some of New Zealand’s most recognised wine and beverage labels, such as Uncommon Wine, Selaks, Canadian Club, and others. The work is customer-facing, energetic, and centered around social brand experiences, from supermarket tastings to retail promotions and larger events.
Job Details
Role: Alcohol Sampling Brand Ambassador
Location: Christchurch
Typical timing: Around 3:30pm to 7:15pm
Usual days: Mostly Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Start date: Week beginning 26/1/2026
Employment style: Casual, shift-based contracting work
Important note: Shift lengths can differ slightly depending on the client. Assignments are made available and can be booked through the staffing platform.
What You’ll Do
- Lead alcohol sampling activity inside stores
- Engage shoppers in relaxed, friendly conversations
- Explain the brand background and highlight key product features
- Help create a lively experience that supports trial and sales
- Represent the brand professionally with confidence and presentation
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who is naturally outgoing and comfortable speaking with people
- A genuine interest in RTD drinks
- Ability to work as an independent contractor in New Zealand
- Dependable, well-organised, and punctual
- A full NZ driver licence and access to a vehicle
- Availability on Thursday to Saturday throughout the campaign
- Prior experience in sales, promotions, retail, or hospitality is a plus
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay of $25 per hour
- Full training provided
- Mileage and travel support for locations more than 20 km from Central Christchurch
