Role overview
This is a full-time remote opportunity for an AI/ML Engineer. The position is for a Member of Technical Staff in AI/ML Engineering, working on behalf of a client. The main focus is to create machine learning solutions that can be taken into production and used to improve business results. You will partner with teams across engineering and product to embed AI capabilities into live systems.
What you will do
- Architect, develop, and refine scalable AI/ML models for practical use cases.
- Build and support end-to-end machine learning workflows, including cleaning data, creating features, and training models.
- Work closely with software engineers to deploy models reliably in production environments.
- Test and validate model outputs carefully to make sure performance and accuracy meet expectations.
- Keep up with new developments in AI and machine learning, and use relevant advances to strengthen existing solutions.
Required background and skills
- Strong Python programming skills, along with hands-on experience using AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of machine learning methods, including both supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Experience working with data analysis and processing tools such as SQL, Pandas, or NumPy.
- Comfort working with cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure for model deployment and management.
- Understanding of software engineering practices, including Git-based version control and CI/CD workflows.
