About the Role

This opportunity is offered on behalf of a partner company seeking an AI Scriptwriter based in Saudi Arabia, focused on crafting engaging short-form digital stories. Key Responsibilities

Compose scripts for vertical short-form series optimized for mobile-first consumption.
Develop serialized plots including character development, emotional journeys, conflicts, and dramatic pacing.
Craft gripping openings and cliffhangers to maximize viewer retention and interaction.
Ideate new series concepts, innovative formats, and novel storytelling methods.
Convert existing stories into brisk short-format content while preserving narrative quality and audience interest.
Work alongside producers, directors, and editors to finalize scripts and productions.
Evaluate content performance through analytics and refine scripts based on audience data such as retention and engagement metrics.
Keep abreast of trends and evolving formats within the short-form entertainment industry.

Qualifications & Requirements

Deep understanding of storytelling elements, screenplay writing, and serialized narrative structures.
Skill in designing story frameworks utilizing hooks, conflicts, and suspenseful cliffhangers.
Experience scripting content designed for rapid consumption and short formats.
A portfolio showcasing past scriptwriting or storytelling achievements is mandatory.
Familiarity with current trends in short-form entertainment platforms and digital storytelling.
Proficient written English skills at B2 level or beyond.
Creative and original thinker with agility in adapting content for diverse audiences.
Ability to effectively collaborate within creative teams and integrate feedback during production.
Basic knowledge of performance analytics like retention rates, click-through rates, and completion percentages is advantageous.
Prior experience developing mobile-first vertical series is a plus.
