About the Role
micro1 is seeking AI Data Annotation Experts to join a client-focused initiative aimed at enhancing AI systems through precise video data labeling and annotation. This contractor position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from any location. The primary mission is to support the training of advanced AI models through detailed, high-quality video data annotation. Prior AI experience is not required; instead, your expertise in the relevant domain will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine short video segments to identify and categorize repetitive events following specific guidelines.
- Accurately annotate each detected event, ensuring precise timestamps are recorded for each occurrence.
- Develop clear, succinct, and consistent textual descriptions for all annotated events.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of annotations.
- Strictly adhere to annotation protocols to uphold the consistency and integrity of the labeled datasets.
- Collaborate proactively with project managers and team members to resolve any queries or incorporate feedback.
- Deliver annotated data regularly in line with project timelines and milestones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrable background in video annotation or similar data labeling tasks.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes.
- Analytical capability to comprehend and apply annotation guidelines effectively.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to accurately describe annotations and communicate within the team.
- Experience contributing to AI model training or data-driven projects is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in distributed or remote team settings.
- Self-motivated and flexible in adapting to changing annotation requirements and feedback.
