About the Role
The Advanced Associate, Sales (APAC) is responsible for driving revenue growth for Pearson Clinical in the Asia region by managing sales administration, customer outreach, lead qualification, and providing strong operational assistance to Business Development Managers (BDMs). This position suits a developing sales professional eager to handle high-volume tasks, maintain accurate CRM workflows, and progressively take on larger sales duties as the Asia market expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently handle assigned sales support tasks and administrative workflows with accuracy and minimal oversight.
- Prepare sales documents such as quotes, proposals, and order forms to assist BDMs.
- Coordinate meetings, product demos, and training sessions across multiple time zones.
- Maintain organized records and reports aligned with internal systems and industry best practices.
- Support regional sales events including conferences and webinars by managing logistics and materials.
- Perform targeted outbound outreach to warm prospects and respond to inbound inquiries using approved communication scripts.
- Qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and promptly pass promising opportunities to BDMs.
- Conduct consistent follow-ups on active sales opportunities with clear next-step tracking.
- Provide accurate product details for defined offerings and escalate complex issues as necessary.
- Maintain precise Salesforce CRM data entries, minimizing the need for corrections.
- Log all interactions, follow-ups, meeting notes, and customer feedback diligently.
- Assist with forecasting and pipeline reports to support planning efforts of BDMs.
- Strive to reduce recurring errors by quickly learning from feedback and increasing attention to detail.
- Deliver personalized and attentive customer service that fosters trust and support.
- Guide customers through straightforward product offerings, demonstrations, and onboarding assistance.
- Help customers with basic troubleshooting and platform navigation before escalating issues.
- Collaborate closely with BDMs to progress sales opportunities and address sales process gaps.
- Participate actively in team meetings, share insights, and provide support during peak workload periods.
- Provide coverage for teammates during absences and consistently model Pearson's values and professionalism.

- Efficient and accurate completion of high-volume tasks with dependable consistency.
- Maintaining CRM records to high standards with minimal need for cleanup.
- Enhancing pipeline quality by reducing dropped leads and improving handoffs to BDMs.
- Delivering positive customer experiences through clear and responsive communication.
- Rapid learning and reduction in repeated errors through coaching and feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, account management, customer success, or client relations.
- Residency anywhere within the APAC or Australia region.
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Bahasa is considered advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across diverse customer groups.
- High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work independently and contribute meaningfully to team objectives.
