As an Accounts Supervisor at The Plaza Doha LXR Hotels & Resorts, part of Hilton, you play a vital role in facilitating exceptional hospitality by managing receivables, payables, and collections. Your expertise in ensuring timely, precise financial transactions and cash flow management supports smooth hotel operations and contributes to memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring invoices, payments, receipts, and supplier settlements are handled promptly and in accordance with company policies.
• Oversee collections management and maintain an optimal cash flow by following up on overdue accounts and collaborating with customers and internal teams.
• Review and approve reconciliations of customer accounts, vendor statements, subsidiary ledgers, and the general ledger to guarantee financial accuracy.
• Address and resolve payment and billing discrepancies in cooperation with relevant departments and external stakeholders.
• Support credit control activities by assessing customer creditworthiness, managing vendor relationships, and enforcing agreed payment terms.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports including accounts receivable, accounts payable, aging balances, cash flow, and collections to inform decision-making.
• Lead and mentor the finance team by supervising daily accounting operations, ensuring adherence to internal controls, and promoting continuous improvements across financial functions.
