Role Overview
The Account Manager role involves initiating and nurturing new business connections while acting as the initial point of contact for existing B2B clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations managed effectively.
Key Duties
- Acquire thorough knowledge of TransPerfect's service offerings, benefits, and market advantages.
- Identify and target prospective clients and organizations for focused sales efforts.
- Establish new client relationships through outreach methods such as cold calling, online engagement, and trade shows.
- Collaborate with Sales Management to identify, qualify, develop, and finalize sales deals.
- Educate clients about TransPerfect's services to promote adoption.
- Support customers and coordinate with Production Management to manage client expectations.
- Understand and handle pricing and contractual matters by mastering company procedures.
- Gain insights into clients' industries, operational needs, and organizational culture to uncover additional business opportunities and maintain high service standards.
- Execute other assigned special projects or responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Interest or prior exposure to Strategic Business Development or Client Services/Account Management roles.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Capable of performing financial analysis including revenue projections and budget monitoring.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Possession of at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Willingness and ability to commute to the London office five days per week.
- Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and teamwork, problem-solving skills, and strong client relationship abilities.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in Account Management is considered advantageous.
