Role summary

This is a contract research opportunity for an Academic Researcher who will support a client project from anywhere. The work centers on planning studies, carrying out research tasks, reviewing existing literature, and turning findings into well-structured academic outputs.

Compensation

The payout for this assignment is $20 to $55 per hour.

Key responsibilities

Develop and run academic research studies that match project goals.
Review published work to identify knowledge gaps and guide the research approach.
Work with both qualitative and quantitative information using statistical and analytical methods.
Draft, refine, and proofread research papers, reports, and related documentation for publication.
Coordinate with different teams to help apply research insights to ongoing development work.

Required background and capabilities

Prior experience in academic research or a closely related area is necessary.
Strong command of data analysis tools and statistical software is required.
Excellent academic writing and editing ability is expected.
The role calls for the ability to work on your own and deliver within deadlines.
