Role overview
Rolling Ant is hiring a 3D Artist for on-site work in Englewood, Florida. The role centers on creating 3D assets and visuals for interactive projects, including applications in gaming, architecture, and real estate. Depending on project needs, the position may also involve architectural visualization and 3D application development.
What you will do
- Build 3D artwork and assets for interactive 3D projects.
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Technical Managers, and fellow artists to deliver project goals.
- Create architectural designs for interactive 3D real-estate projects.
- Model and render architectural structures, including interior and exterior visuals.
- Support other teams with architectural expertise when needed.
- Help maintain product quality across company projects.
- Develop interactive 3D applications for PC, web, mobile phones, tablets, GearVR, and HTC Vive using Unity3D, CryEngine, or Unreal.
- Work on mobile application development using Unity3D or native code.
Required expertise
- Strong command of 3ds Max.
- Proficiency in Photoshop.
- Hands-on experience with 3D modeling for games and architecture.
- A strong visual sense and creative thinking are valuable advantages.
- Experience with game engines such as Unity3D, CRYENGINE, or Unreal is an added benefit.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and contribute both independently and in a team setting.
- Advanced skills in ZBrush are a plus.
- Good English communication skills are advantageous.
- For the development-focused part of the role, strong knowledge of C++ or C# is required.
- Understanding of databases is needed for the development work.
- Experience in web, mobile, or Flash development is an advantage.
