About the Internship
We are seeking a Process Engineering Intern to thoroughly examine, document, and enhance the operational workflows throughout the organization. The intern will collaborate closely with the operations team to grasp current procedures, detect inefficiencies, and propose actionable solutions aimed at boosting productivity, minimizing turnaround times (TAT), and optimizing resource use.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and document existing workflow processes across multiple departments.
- Engage with process owners to understand and gather operational requirements.
- Develop process maps, flowcharts, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for essential business operations.
- Observe daily operations to pinpoint bottlenecks, delays, and inefficiencies.
- Analyze turnaround time at different process stages and suggest improvements.
- Assess workload distribution and recommend strategies for line balancing to enhance productivity.
- Collect and analyze operational data to detect trends and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Employ basic operations research techniques, including capacity planning, queue analysis, and resource optimization.
- Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations that outline process enhancements and key findings.
- Work collaboratively across teams to implement and monitor suggested process improvements.

- Must be able to begin the internship between July 13, 2026, and August 17, 2026.
- Availability for a two-month internship tenure is mandatory.

- Should be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data manipulation.
- Strong analytical and data analysis abilities.
- Experience or knowledge in process mapping and SOP documentation.
- Basic understanding of operations research concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Keen attention to detail and a passion for process improvement.
Additional Details
- The internship provides a monthly stipend ranging from INR 9,000 to INR 10,000.
- Selected interns may be offered a full-time job opportunity post completion.
