About the Organization
Devasya Welfare Foundation is a youth-led non-governmental organization founded in June 2021 by Vijay Chauhan and Vidhi Baria. Registered under Section 8 of the Government of India and holding an 80G certificate, the NGO facilitates tax-exempt donations. Their mission focuses on uplifting underprivileged children and communities through initiatives such as menstrual hygiene awareness (Project Rohini), birthday celebrations for needy children, free medical camps, education programs, skill-building workshops, and food distribution efforts. Currently operational in Vadodara, Surat, and Ahmedabad, the foundation also offers online volunteer roles across India, with plans for expansion to additional cities.
Internship Responsibilities
- Leverage social media platforms to generate funds supporting social causes.
- Promote and share crowdfunding campaigns to maximize outreach and participation.
- Track and update daily information regarding donations, supporters, and fundraising status.
- Interact professionally with donors, sponsors, and campaign participants to represent the foundation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be available to work remotely.
- Ability to begin the internship between July 10, 2026, and August 14, 2026.
- Commitment to a one-week internship duration.
- Relevant skills and genuine interest in social work and fundraising.
