About the internship

This work-from-home, part-time internship focuses on building Vedron.ai’s academic network within STEM institutions. The role is centered on identifying strong faculty talent, introducing them to the company’s mission in AI evaluation, and helping convert interested professors into active contributors.

What you’ll do

• Find senior professors, assistant professors, and teaching assistants in core STEM departments who have a strong research background.
• Contact faculty members and explain Vedron.ai’s work with leading AI research labs on next-generation AI evaluation.
• Present the opportunity for professors to design research-grade reasoning benchmarks that can assess and improve frontier AI models.
• Communicate the benchmark requirements clearly, including multi-step reasoning tasks written in text and LaTeX that produce one verifiable answer.
• Serve as the main liaison between interested faculty and the Vedron dataset engineering team during onboarding.
• Arrange the collection and submission of sample benchmark problems from participating professors.
• Develop and nurture relationships with faculty to support participation and make onboarding seamless.
• Keep detailed records of outreach activity, responses, and successful professor onboarding.
• Prepare structured twice-weekly reports for leadership covering engagement, conversion rates, and progress.
• Help grow Vedron.ai’s academic expert network by consistently reaching out to high-quality STEM faculty.

Who can apply

This opportunity is limited to candidates who can work remotely, are available to begin between 7 July 2026 and 11 August 2026, and can commit for 3 weeks. Applicants should have relevant skills and interest in the role. Women looking to start or restart their careers are also welcome to apply.

Eligibility and requirements

• Only students currently enrolled in STEM programs may apply.
• Candidates from Tier 1 institutions such as IITs, NITs, BITS, IISERs, TIFR, and other premier central universities will be preferred.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills are needed to interact professionally with senior faculty, department heads, and doctoral researchers.
• Applicants should show professionalism, punctuality, and maturity, since they will represent a frontier AI company.
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building ability is important for engaging academic professionals confidently.
• The role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle outreach tracking and reporting accurately.

Compensation and perks

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 20,000 to 32,000. The pay structure includes fixed compensation of INR 12,000 to 20,000 per month plus incentive pay of INR 8,000 to 12,000 per month. Additional benefits include a certificate, a letter of recommendation, and flexible working hours.
