About the Internship
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to comprehensive web application development using both front-end and back-end technologies. The intern will assist in creating and improving user interfaces utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while also supporting the implementation of modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular under mentorship. On the server side, the intern will engage with back-end development involving Node.js, Python, or Java and manage data with databases like MySQL or MongoDB.
The role involves participation throughout the software development life cycle from initial design stages to testing and deployment. The intern will use version control tools like Git for managing code and collaborative development. Problem-solving skills will be honed by identifying and fixing technical bugs. They will work alongside cross-functional teams following agile methodologies and document their coding processes to adopt best practices. This internship also provides exposure to marine technology-related projects, a valuable addition to technical experience.
Who Should Apply
Candidates eligible for this position must be available to commit to a full-time in-office internship starting between July 17 and August 21, 2026, and must be able to dedicate six months to the role. Preference is given to Computer Science Engineering students or those with relevant technical skills and interests suitable for this role.

Planys Technologies Private Limited is a startup incubated by IIT Madras, specializing in submerged robotic inspection and survey solutions.
