About the internship
This work-from-home internship is with Fast Action Claims, a specialist legal practice focused on helping people recover money through financial claims. The team supports clients who may have been mis-sold financial products, faced irresponsible lending, or been treated unfairly by lenders, banks, or other financial institutions.
The organisation works across consumer credit law, financial regulations, and claims handling, with a strong emphasis on accurate administration, careful document management, and client-focused service.
What you will do
- Keep client records up to date in the CRM, making sure the information remains complete and accurate.
- Draft, format, and proofread client letters, letters of authority, and claim-related documents.
- Handle data entry work, file checks, and bulk data reconciliation tasks.
- Support the handling and organisation of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
- Review DSAR documents and pull out important details such as account information, lending history, and affordability indicators.
- Work with colleagues across the UK, India, and South Africa using email and internal messaging tools.
- Monitor claim progress, identify delayed items, and help keep workflows on schedule.
- Manage document filing, naming systems, and digital folder organisation.
- Take on additional administrative tasks assigned by the operations team.

Additional requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed LLB, BA LLB, LLM, B.Com, or an MBA in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong ability in legal drafting, documentation, and complaint handling.
- Prior familiarity with LOA verification, DSAR requests, and lender complaint workflows is an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Comfortable handling confidential client information and sensitive records with professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and professional email communication.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational ability.
- Able to manage several cases at once and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Previous internship or experience in legal, finance, or compliance work will be preferred.
- The internship provides practical exposure to real legal and financial dispute cases involving lenders and regulatory procedures.
- Interns will gain hands-on experience in legal drafting, compliance processes, and professional client communication.
- High-performing interns may receive a certificate, a letter of recommendation, and possible long-term opportunities.
