Job Overview

This opportunity is within Avaloq's Banking Operations, a strategic global business area offering back-office services to banks through a Banking Processes as a Service (BPaaS) model. The team is responsible for delivering high-quality back-office services encompassing securities, payments, regulatory compliance, master data, corporate actions, and tax processing, combined with advanced automation and risk standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operational activities across multiple teams in adherence with service level agreements (SLAs) established with clients.
• Monitor, plan, and execute routine tasks efficiently to meet client requirements.
• Support the team in testing new software functionalities and system releases.
• Collaborate on projects implementing legal regulations and introducing new technical capabilities.
• Contribute to improving the Avaloq core banking system and related workflows to enhance efficiency and minimize operational risk.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing studies in economics or a related field that incorporates economic principles.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Capability to work effectively under pressure with flexibility.
• Analytical thinking and proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Structured, detail-oriented approach with quick comprehension of new concepts.
• Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking operational processes such as securities, corporate actions, or client master data management.
• Hands-on experience with the Avaloq core banking system.
• Knowledge of process optimization techniques.
