About the Role

As a Windows Systems Administrator within the Environment Management Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting and engineering solutions across operating systems, middleware, applications, and databases for pre-production environments. Utilizing strong automation skills and tools such as Bitbucket, Artifactory, and GitLab, you will ensure reliable deployment and maintenance of test infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy new code releases and perform smoke testing to validate functionality.
• Execute environment backups and restore previous versions when rollbacks are necessary.
• Manage access control to test environments adhering to least privilege principles.
• Provide weekly project status updates.
• Analyze and recommend improvements to environment performance.
• Handle tickets and tasks thoroughly documenting support provided and solutions applied.
• Support fellow Systems Administrators with technical issues.
• Document and understand complete environment integrations and dependencies.
• Design and build new testing environments as required.
• Maintain and update standard documentation including policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Effectively manage time and multitask across diverse responsibilities.
• Communicate and support QA and development teams with professionalism and clarity.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent practical experience.
• Expertise in Windows Server platforms (2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022), SQL clustering, PowerShell automation, IIS configuration, Active Directory, DNS, VLANs, and Netscalers.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle connections, basic querying, and familiarity with VMware environments.
• At least five years combined experience in customer service and IT roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and train colleagues in customer service principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic and evolving workplace.
• Occasional travel as required.
• Primary work hours are standard business hours; however, off-hours support may be necessary.
