Job description
Role Overview
Join Lyreco UK & Ireland in the role of Washroom Service Operative based in Manchester City Centre. This full-time permanent position involves working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, delivering integral washroom servicing solutions with a salary of 31,473 annually.
Key Duties
- Efficiently service and maintain various washroom equipment such as feminine hygiene units, nappy waste systems, sharps disposals, air freshener systems, and vending machines.
- Deliver services and goods punctually and professionally to multiple customer locations, ensuring excellent client interaction representing the company positively.
- Collect and dispose of waste generated during service operations at production premises responsibly.
- Perform daily safety and operational vehicle checks before commencing customer visits.
- Review and complete all required paperwork for delivered services, products, and returns with accuracy and ensure proper sign-offs.
- Strictly follow health and safety protocols including manual handling procedures, monitor working hours in line with Working Time and Driving Time Directives.
Qualifications and Attributes
- A valid full UK driving license is mandatory.
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage workload independently, as the role requires self-initiative and autonomy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers professionally and diplomatically.
- Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of employment screening.
