Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee inter-plant Stock Transfer Orders (STSO) ensuring timely execution and monitoring.
- Coordinate with dispatch and receiving units to facilitate seamless material transfers.
- Ensure prompt closure of all pending STSO transactions adhering to timelines.
- Validate material details, quantities, and documentation before dispatch.
- Manage Goods Acceptance Receipt (GAR) posting ensuring same-day updates for incoming STSO materials.
- Collaborate with warehouse and system teams to prevent delays in receipt postings.
- Track and resolve pending GAR transactions, confirming consistency between physical receipts and system records.
- Conduct monthly reconciliation comparing STSO versus GAR data, identifying discrepancies such as pending receipts and quantity mismatches.
- Generate reconciliation reports and communicate issues to management for corrective actions.
- Maintain inventory accuracy via ERP/SAP systems; conduct cycle counts and support stock audits.
- Investigate discrepancies between physical stock and system data and implement resolutions.
- Maintain compliance by keeping thorough documentation of STSO, GAR, and inventory transactions aligning with company policies and audit readiness.
- Support warehouse operations including material handling, storage, bin management, adherence to FIFO and 5S standards, and preventing damage or loss of critical materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Dispatch & Logistics, and other warehouses to resolve operational issues and participate in root cause analyses.
Performance Metrics
- Achieve 100% same-day GAR completion rate.
- Close STSO transactions within 24 hours.
- Ensure monthly reconciliation accuracy and inventory records accuracy at 100%.
- Maintain 100% audit compliance score.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce or related fields.
- Prior experience in warehouse or inventory management; manufacturing sector experience is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
- In-depth understanding of STSO process and inter-plant logistics.
- Familiarity with ERP/Oracle systems.
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in reconciliation.
- Effective coordination and proactive follow-up skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
