Role Overview

Anchored by the principles of Relationship Hospitality and A Sense of Place, we invite passionate and customer-focused Waiters and Waitresses to join our esteemed French & Italian restaurant. This position demands delivering luxurious dining by offering expert, personalized, and attentive service while celebrating the refined French and Italian culinary traditions. Due to the international clientele, fluency in French is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, courteous, and customized service throughout the entire guest dining experience.
• Greet guests, escort them to their seats, and explain the unique concept of the restaurant.
• Confidently present the menus, detailing dishes, components, preparation techniques, and specials of the day.
• Suggest complementary food and beverage pairings to enhance guests' enjoyment.
• Anticipate guest requirements and react swiftly with professionalism and tact.
• Address customer feedback and service issues empathically and effectively.
• Prepare dining areas in advance, ensuring all mise en place is set accurately.
• Record food and drink orders precisely through the Point-of-Sale system.
• Deliver food and beverages in accordance with Rosewood's luxury service standards.
• Maintain proper service sequencing and timing during meals.
• Continuously monitor tables to uphold outstanding service quality.
• Handle billing processes accurately and swiftly.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of French and Italian cuisines, menus, seasonal dishes, beverages, ingredients, allergens, and wine-food pairings.
• Stay informed about menu updates and promotional events.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the restaurant, service stations, and equipment.
• Adhere strictly to Rosewood's brand guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist in opening, closing, and inventory activities.
• Comply with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
• Help team members during busy service times to guarantee smooth operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferred diploma or certification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related disciplines.
• At least two years of professional experience as a waiter or waitress in luxury hotels or fine dining settings.
• Prior involvement in French, Italian, or European fine dining restaurants is highly valued.
• Experience within Forbes Five-Star or Michelin-level establishments is considered an advantage.
