VMC Machine Operator

Job Summary

Smantec Engineering is seeking a skilled VMC Machine Operator to efficiently handle the production process involving clamping and de-clamping components on Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines. The role demands adherence to quality standards, consistent documentation, and maintaining safety and workplace organization following 5S principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the VMC machine by securely clamping and releasing components for production tasks.
• Maintain accurate quality control records for every component produced to ensure consistency and standards compliance.
• Implement and uphold 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) methodology and safety protocols on the shop floor.

Shift and Location Details

The position requires working in one of the three shifts: Shift 1 (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM), Shift 2 (5:00 PM to 1:30 AM), or Shift 3 (1:00 AM to 9:00 AM). The job site is located at 2/159, Pattanampudur, Coimbatore - 641016.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges between 13,000 and 25,000 INR, based on experience and performance.
