US IT Recruiter

Role overview

We are looking for a recruiter focused on US-based IT hiring. The role involves identifying, screening, and qualifying candidates for client requirements while managing the entire recruitment cycle independently.

Key responsibilities

• Search for suitable candidates for US IT openings through job portals such as Dice, Monster, LinkedIn, ATS/ATO databases, and referrals.
• Study each requirement carefully and share strong matches quickly, with minimal delay.
• Handle the complete recruitment process on your own, without needing close supervision.
• Serve as the main contact for clients for requirement intake, profile submissions, interview coordination, and offer follow-ups.
• Keep clients updated on pipeline progress and candidate feedback in a clear and timely manner.
• Work on Corp-to-Corp, W2, and 1099 hiring arrangements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience in US IT staffing; experience in RPO or high-volume hiring will not be considered the same fit.
• Ability to work independently and manage the process without relying on team support.
• Strong knowledge of US employment authorizations, including H1B, GC, USC, EAD, TN, and CPT/OPT.
• Comfortable working during US business hours, preferably EST or CST.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills for direct interaction with clients.
• Experience in one or more of these areas: IT Infrastructure, Software Engineering, Semiconductor, Data/Cloud, or Networking.

Performance expectations

• Share the first set of qualified profiles within 24 to 48 hours after receiving a requirement, and do this consistently.
• Maintain at least a 50% conversion rate from submitted profiles to client interviews.
• Respond to client questions, feedback requests, and status updates within the same business day.
• Deliver at least 1 to 2 confirmed placements each month as an individual contributor, with growth expected over time.
• Keep the recruitment tracker updated in real time for every open position, with no outdated submissions, missing follow-ups, or inactive candidates.
