Role overview
We are hiring experienced Upholsterers for a permanent position at a modern furniture manufacturing site in Armthorpe, Doncaster. The role is focused on producing high-quality sofas, chairs and footstools as part of a fast-paced production environment.
Pay and working pattern
- Hourly pay is £14.46, with an uncapped performance-related bonus and additional benefits.
- Estimated on-target earnings are £32,110 to £37,369 per year.
- A retention bonus of £2,000 is payable after 12 months, subject to terms and conditions.
- A refer-a-friend bonus of £1,000 is payable after 12 months, subject to terms and conditions.
- This is a permanent, full-time role.
- Working hours are 38.75 per week.
- The schedule runs Monday to Friday.
- Shift time is 5:30 AM to 1:45 PM.
- Location: Armthorpe, Doncaster, DN3 3FQ.

Since launching its manufacturing operation in 2016 with one production line, it has expanded to around 200 employees and 14 production lines. It is recognised for modern British manufacturing from its Doncaster base.
What the role involves
Upholsterers are central to the production of furniture that meets high customer expectations. The work sits within a structured “plan by model” system designed to help team members maximise their earnings, while also benefiting from steady year-round manufacturing demand. The operation uses quality materials and has in-house foam/fibre and frame-making capability to support the upholstery team.
Candidate profile
We are looking for skilled, experienced upholsterers who take pride in workmanship and in delivering consistently high standards. Experience working on a production line is especially valuable. A positive attitude, energy and a strong team focus are also important.
